The AIOStory vocabulary, defined plainly
The terms you will meet in your brand story, and what each one means in this tool. No jargon for its own sake.
AI visibility
How clearly an AI system can read and describe your brand from your public pages. AIOStory reads your locations the way AI does and reports what AI can see.
AIO (AI Optimization)
The practice of shaping your site so AI systems read it accurately. Where SEO targets search rankings, AIO targets how clearly AI understands and represents your brand.
Clarity
One of the six pillars. How plainly a page states who you are, what you do, and who you serve, so AI does not have to guess.
Identity
One of the six pillars. How consistently a page names the brand and its details, so AI reads one coherent entity rather than a fragmented one.
Substance
One of the six pillars. How much real, readable content backs up the claims on a page, giving AI something concrete to describe.
Reach
One of the six pillars. The signals that show a page is connected and reachable, so AI can find and follow it.
Trust
One of the six pillars. The proof on a page that AI can actually read, such as machine-readable ratings or clearly linked review profiles.
Locality
One of the six pillars. How clearly a page establishes the specific place it serves, which matters most when a brand lives at many addresses.
Chapter
One of the six story sections AIOStory synthesizes from your per-location data: Who AI Thinks Your Brand Is, What AI Gets Wrong, Where AI Looks Elsewhere, Missing Chapters, Trust Signals, and The Fuller Story. Every chapter sentence traces to a measured value.
Directional read
The free result. It points to where your brand story is strong and where it breaks down across the locations sampled. It is a direction to investigate, not a final per-location audit.
Sample cap
The free read scores the first eight locations after deduplication. Eight is the cap, so a larger brand still gets a fast, consistent read without scoring every site.
N of M
The honest disclosure on every read: N is how many locations were sampled and scored, M is how many you entered. If you enter twenty and we sample eight, the story says so.
Blocked, or AI cannot read this website
A location that returns a bot challenge or is unreachable when an AI system tries to read it. The page may work fine for people, but AI gets nothing, so it cannot contribute to your story.
Machine-readable proof
Evidence on the page that AI can parse without a human, such as AggregateRating schema, clearly linked review profiles, and LocalBusiness signals. Proof that lives only on a third party profile is not read from your page.
Microsite
A standalone site or subdomain for a single location, owner, or campaign. AIOStory reads microsites alongside primary location pages.
Multi-location brand
One company operating at many addresses. AIOStory reads each location you enter and tells the story across them.
Franchise system
Many independent owners operating under one brand. AIOStory reads franchisee pages and microsites the same way it reads any location, so the brand level story still comes through.
Full audit
The paid next step from Digilu. Where the free read samples up to eight locations, a full audit evaluates every location and microsite individually. You can start one at Talk to Digilu.
Determinism
Same inputs, same story, word for word. There is no LLM in the scoring or synthesis, no randomness, and no paid API, so the read is repeatable and you can trust it does not drift between runs.

It takes your location URLs and about two minutes. The story might surprise you.
